Meetings beginning at 7 pm will be held in the Murphy Library, meetings beginning at 9:30 am will be held in the Murphy Cafeteria.
The Murphy PTO is looking for volunteers for ALL Executive Board positions for next year. Please see the list below of all positions along with a brief description of what is involved
(Co-)President(s): Create a meeting agenda and run the PTO meeting per the agenda. Organize PTO events (eg, Book Fair, Spirit Wear sales at school functions, and fundraisers of your choosing). Host Staff Appreciation events.
Vice President: Order spirit wear and fill individual spirit wear orders. Maintain spirit wear inventory.
Treasurer: Collect money and be responsible for bank deposits in a timely fashion. Disburse money at the request of the PTO Co-Presidents. Present updated budget at PTO meetings.
Corresponding Secretary: Read all correspondence at the meetings. Add additional PTO memberships to email list and send out email blasts.
Recording Secretary: Keep accurate minutes at each PTO meeting and provide copies at the next meeting.
Joint Council Representative: Attend monthly Joint Council meetings and report back at PTO meetings.
